I came across iHerb when I was searching for Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman Miracle Complexion Sponge. Of course they have it at SHINS at Mid Valley, but I thought it to be too pricey, for a sponge! As I looked for alternatives, I found that it's only sold for USD 5.99 on iHerb !!!!
I did not make a purchase immediately, I was browsing, and adding and removing items from my cart for quite some time! I wanted to get more savings on the shipping costs. There are 3 options to ship to Malaysia:
The rate gets cheaper when you purchase over certain amount, and of course also depends on the total weight. I chose DHL Express as it has tracking number (you can stalk your parcel real time on their website), and my parcel arrived in just 4 days! Cleared the customs pretty quickly as well.
If you're not in a hurry, there's always the cheaper International Airmail option, without tracking number. Personally, I do not feel secured without a tracking number so I'd rather pay a little more, after reading some horror stories about parcels being lost.
Purchasing from iHerb was surprisingly easy and smooth for me. I had some worries on the payment with my credit card but it went through and my items were packed on the same day and shipped on the next! If your payment is rejected for whatever reason, just call up your issuing bank. Currently iHerb doesn't accept from PayPal, which I hope they will soon.
I'm so satisfied that I'm going to make my next purchase soon!
If you're thinking of making a purchase from iHerb for the first time, you can enjoy up to USD 10 discount (for total of USD 40 and above, and USD 5 off for first order of less than USD 40) by using this discount code: QRR180
Have fun shopping!

Look Younger, Feel Healthier With Pomegranate
This nutrient dense, antioxidant-rich fruit has been revered as a symbol of health. Many studies have shown that pomegranate is one of the most powerful, nutrient-packed foods for overall good health. It is also said to help stomach upsets, stimulates the immune system, lowers cholesterol and other cardiac risk factors, lowers blood pressure, and most importantly, ladies, it is the most powerful antioxidant of all fruits! How awesome is that?!
The fruit itself tastes great, but being the lazy me, I looked for alternatives. I was introduced to NaturCare Pomegranate from Tupperware, and I was totally sold! Each softgel is packed with 10 pomegranate goodness - everything from the seeds, pulp and peel! Personally I do feel better, in general, and I'm loving the convenience of taking 2 softgels daily. My aunt who had pain around the neck and arms for some more than half a year tried this and her pain went away gradually and pain-free now!
For those interested, you can read more on Tupperware's site and if you would like to try it, you may contact me at lifestartswithc [at] gmail.com

L'Occitane Precious Cream Review
This cream is said to aid your skin's ability to correct deep wrinkles and maintain elasticity and smoothness. Of course I didn't notice much difference. Don't quite like the smell either.
L'Occitane Immortelle Precious Serum Review
Immortelle is a flower that never fades. This jar of serum contains more than 1000 flowers with its anti-aging properties. On its website, it's recommended to only use a drop, but I couldn't even spread it to half of my face with that drop. And it absorbs real quickly. So I end up using 4-5 drops each time instead.
I've just finished my jar of this , I didn't see that much of improvements in my wrinkles; I think they're too deep that no product can help anyway :-) Perhaps it did help some of the finer lines that I didn't pay attention to. Many claim to see improvements though. I still like it anyway.

Melvita Fresh Eye-Contour Gel Review
The sales assistant recommended this eye gel to me for my dark circles and eye bags. It's light and absorbs very quickly. Fresh rose smell which I like, but does nothing to my dark circles and eye bags. Have you tried an eye gel/cream/serum that works? Do share :-)
Hada Labo Mild Peeling Lotion Review
I gave this lotion a try as it claims to remove dead skin and improve skin hydration. On the first few uses, it left my skin slightly irritated, but it's fine now. And best of all it doesn't dry up my skin, which is great. I use it every two days though.
Lush The Sacred Truth Fresh Face Mask Review
I was browsing on their website for masks, looked at the ingredients and noticed that this mask had honey, evening primrose oil, shea butter, organic yoghurt and ylang ylang; all the goodies to help my dry skin.
It's green and smells..fresh! It only lasts for 4 weeks, like most Lush masks, so I had to use it every day before it expired! It leaves my skin really soft and moisturized, which leaves me feeling like I don't need moisturizer after. One of the best masks I've used for dry skin.
